What is Salmon Mechanical's history?
Salmon Mechanical's roots go back to 1979: more than 45 years of mechanical experience across the Wasatch Front, from Salmon and Alder to Salmon Mechanical.
- 1979–1998: Salmon and Alder LLC. Craig Salmon and his partner founded Salmon & Alder LLC. Over nearly two decades, they built a strong reputation for quality HVAC work and grew the company throughout Utah.
- 1998–2002: Sold to Comfort Systems. In 1998, Salmon & Alder was acquired by Comfort Systems, a publicly traded company. Craig stayed with Comfort Systems for five years, continuing to lead projects.
- 2002: Salmon HVAC. After leaving Comfort Systems, Craig partnered with his father and sons to start Salmon HVAC, building the company on hard work, craftsmanship, and long-term customer relationships.
- Today: Salmon Mechanical. The original Salmon HVAC company now operates as Salmon Mechanical, keeping the same business and tax ID. Salmon HVAC continues separately, so each company can focus on its own specialties while carrying on the Salmon family legacy.
